About Swati

Swati has over 20 years’ experience working in technology leadership roles working with leading Australian ASX icons that include Credit Union Australia (CUA), Mirvac Group, Macquarie Bank, CSR and more.

Her success has come from being able to deliver the technical vision of an organisation whilst leading all aspects of the company’s technology development and technology workforce development. Swati works as a trusted partner and consults with other departmental heads, such as Finance and HR to provide advice on how technology can improve their efficiency and productivity.

She’s also incredibly passionate about empowering women in technology and driving gender equity within the industry. Many women aren’t aware of the various career paths available to them in technology and the impact they can have.

She started her career as a qualified accountant and switched to the tech side looking for more variety in her day-to-day role. She’s now part of Scentre Group’s senior management team so she’s pleased to be able to say, it’s all possible. She always encourages people to be open to opportunities and see where they lead, and she’ll certainly continue to champion female talent across business, as well as in her Tech team.
