About Professor PS Lee
Dr. Poh Seng Lee is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds multiple leadership roles within the university, serving as the Executive Director of the Energy Studies Institute (ESI), Co-Director of the Singapore Energy Centre (SgEC), and Director of the Centre for Energy Research & Technology (CERT). His research is primarily focused on sustainable data centre cooling techniques, including single and two-phase microchannel cooling, as well as energy-efficient air conditioning and sustainable data centre design and operation. Prof Lee is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Energy Institute (EI), and the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES). Outside of academia, he is the founder of CoolestDC Pte Ltd, a startup that aims to commercialize liquid cooling solutions, particularly for tropical data centres.
