Sundaresan is a passionate Green Transformation (GX), Sustainability, Procurement, Digital Transformation, and Supply Chain senior leader with 20+ years of experience in the IT and Manufacturing industry through hands-on management across strategic, tactical, and operations levels in a wide-reaching techno-commercial environment including Outsourcing and establishing near-shore Centers of Excellence (CoE)
Currently, he is responsible for developing COE and implementing the data connectors, CO2 data mart, battery passport, and digital twin. Execution of a global sourcing strategy by bringing global consolidation, standardization, market intelligence, innovative commercial model, trends, benchmarking, license optimization, reduced TCO, Driving Sustainability strategy and risk.
Before joining Nissan, he spearheaded procurement at Cognizant’s infrastructure business, delivering significant value to large global clients across 6 continents by improving performance.
Sundaresan has successfully re-engineered, designed, and implemented high tech new generation IT-enabled supply chain systems and processes (B2B & B2C) which include the use of next-generation tools, sourcing based on data analytics, ensuring Tax & Statutory requirement for 100+ countries.
He is an ardent follower of technology and loves to read about technological progress happening around the world. His knowledge domain includes Finance & Accounting, IT, and HR.
About Nissan Digital Procurement COE
The COE is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for digitizing sustainability. A key adviser to CTO in step-up and run Cloud CoE, service level review, automation, sourcing from start up’s and budget rationalization.
